INTERVIEW Michael J. Fosina, FACHE, Immediate Past Chair, American College of Healthcare Executives s a senior executive at leading hospitals in New York, Michael J. Fosina, FACHE, has demonstrated a longstanding dedication to Apatient care and a deep commitment to his community. eTh American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) is recognizing Mr. Fosina’s contributions to healthcare with its 2022 Gold Medal Award at the ACHE Congress on Healthcare Leadership in Chicago. eTh Gold Medal JHM-D-22-00019 Award recognizes executives who exemplify the highest qualities of leadership to improve healthcare services and the health of their communities. Mr. Fosina has served on ACHE’s Board of Governors from 2019 to 2021 (as Chair in 2020), as the ACHE Regent for New York–Metropolitan New York from 2013 to 2016, and on numerous committees. In addition to his service to ACHE, Mr. Fosina is an advisory board member for the University of Delaware College of Health Sciences; the Board of Business Council of Westchester; and board member for LiveOn NY (Council of Senior Centers).
