Comments from the Editor EDITORIAL Philip W. Ralls, MD ltrasound Quarterly is pleased to publish BManagement of Asymptomatic Ovarian Uand Other Adnexal Cysts Imaged at US: Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound Consensus Conference Statement[ Deborah Levine and Douglas L. Brown chaired this conference, with many coauthors and contributors. This important report is published simultaneously in and with permission of Radiology. This is a groundbreaking issue of Ultrasound Quarterly. For the first time, we have articles that include video clips as part of the Web-based content. Karen Harmon and I have worked very hard to make this happen. I want to thank Karen especially for her efforts. Ultrasound Quarterly would simply be impossible without her talent and long hours of work. There is a new type of article in this issueVUltrasound in Video Clips. This type of article exhibits a case, cases, or technical or educational topics that are best demonstrated by video clips. BTakayasu Arteritis,[ in this issue, exemplifies this type of article. This issue contains another landmark articleVBDynamic Ultrasound of Hernias of the Groin and Anterior Abdominal Wall[ by Tom Stavros and Cindy Rapp. This has been in production for a long time and had to wait for our new ability to use video clips. This article makes extensive and necessary use of video clips; it will be a great resource to all. Dr Yoshimi Endo is off to a great start with his literature reviews. Thanks, Yoshimi! Drs Ginat, Butani, Giampoli, Patel, and Dogra, from the University of Rochester, present BPearls and Pitfalls of Thyroid Nodule Sonography and Fine-Needle Aspiration.[ Thyroid imaging is a hot topic these days. My thanks to all who have contributed to and committed to contributing to Ultrasound Quarterly. An editor can only publish what is submitted, and we have been fortunate in that regard.
