Alkansulfonate. Informationsschrift
Aqueous model solutions of a technical alkane sulphonate (chain length C = 12 … 18) were treated in the model experiment with a strongly acid cation‐exchanger and with a weakly and a strongly basic anion‐exchanger. Only in the last case, a considerable decrease of the exchange capacity occurred. This means for the practice: the removel of anion‐active tensides is guaranteed largely by ion exchange. Considerable damages to resin occur only after extended periods of operation. By the positioning of weakly basic anion‐exchangers in front of strongly basic ones the latter are largely protected against the action of anion‐active tensides.
