The 15th Pacific Rim College of Psychiatrists (PRCP) Scientific Meeting was held during 25–27 October 2012, in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. The First PRCP Scientific Meeting was held during 14–16 April 1982 in Taipei, Taiwan (Pasnau, , ). The 15th meeting was the celebration of 30 years of the association. This year's meeting was combined with Annual Meeting of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association (KNPA). The title of the meeting this year was “Beyond Differences, Towards Harmony” (Conference Information, ). In total, 2,115 participants, from 31 countries took part in the meeting. There were 383 presentations for invited lectures with 118 invited speakers. The meeting consisted of an opening ceremony, two keynote lectures, six plenary lectures, luncheon symposiums, 32 symposia, 11 free communication sessions, three young symposia, three mini‐satellite symposia, one workshop, two case conferences, three young workshops, three young special topic reviews and a closing ceremony. On 26–27 October 2012, the KNPA provided 17 KNPA symposia and case conference in the Korean language. There was also a transitional zone with plenary lecture, special lecture, KNPA symposia and two researcher presentations where Korean–English interpretation was provided. The PRCP organized three categories of awardees from different countries: Young Researcher
