New data are presented for some processes accompaning “retro‐Arbuzov” reaction of tertiary arsine oxides with halogen‐containing reagents. Triphenyl (carboethoxy)methylarsonium triiodide 10a was obtained in the reaction of triphenylarsine oxide 1a with excess of ethyl iodoacetate 2a. Abstract
