Short‐arm deletion, chromosome 4, (4p‐), a syndrome?

Short‐arm deletion, chromosome 4, (4p‐), a syndrome? SUMMARY Two cases of new‐born infants with severe multiple congenital anomalies of the ‘mid‐line’ type and a 4p– deleted chromosome arc presented. Clinieal and other findings are compared with 8 published cases and with findings in Edwards' syndrome (18 trisomy), Patau's syndrome (13 trisomy) and cri du chat syndrome (5p–). The identification of the deleted chromosome by autoradiography and measurements is discussed. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Annals of Human Genetics Wiley
