Under contract from the Department of the Environment, the Marine Conservation Review significantly increased the quantity of raw survey data that it holds for the North Sea and English Channel coasts in 1992/93. In addition, the cataloguing of marine survey information was completed, and this information now forms a large part of a supplementary volume to the United Kingdom Digital Marine Atlas (UKDMAP), published by the British Oceanographic Data Centre. A review of the UKDMAP and further details were published in Aquatic Conservation 1993, V O ~3, 161-166. .
