The Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations is the major organization for individuals interested in the history of the foreign relations of the United States. Issued by the society and of particular use to historians are the Newsletter and a periodic roster which indicates the fields and research projects of members. The current president is Armin Rappaport of the University of California. With such issues and a distinguished membership, this organization obviously has great possibilities of service in improving communications among historians in its field. Dr Joseph Siracusa has recently been appointed to the membership committee of the society. His responsibilities lie in administering the Australian and New Zealand region, and he is particularly concerned to hear from teachers and graduate students, as well as academics, interested in American foreign relations. Further information and subscription cards can be obtained by writing to: Dr Joseph M. Siracusa, Department of History, University of Queensland, ST. LUCIA. Q. 4067.
