Teiihard de Chardin, at Wnhsien, in visit the famous fossiliferous site of Yenchingkou. Yenchingkou is a small place located at about 60 Ii S.E. of Wanhsien, ithe right bank of the Yangtze. A few li south of the village, a conspicuous e is formed 'by an anticlinal coré of Wushan limestone (Pennian), emerging !.m the Mesozoic Red becisof Szechuan.
