LITHIUM BATTERIES The fabrication of a freestanding NiS2/FeS holey film by electrochemically anodic and thermal treatments is reported by Yang Yang and co-workers in article number 1701309. With the combination of good electrical conductivity and porous structure, the NiS /FeS holey film presents superior electrochemical performance towards lithium storage. This work opens a new paradigm for high energy and long-lifetime lithium batteries.
