International Xenotransplantation Association XENOTRANSPLANTATION ISSN 0908-66SX Announcement International Xenotransplantation Association This Association has been formed as the first “section” of the Transplantation Society and currently has 197 members. Officers and Councillors were elected earlier this year by postal ballot, with the following results: President Vice President SecretaryDreasurer Committee Co-Chairs plantation Society for an additional annual fee, the exact amount of which will be announced by the end of 1998. Membership will include receipt of the Association’s official journal Xenofrunspluntution, at present published quarterly, and reduced registration fees at the biennial international congresses for xenotransplantation, the next of which will take place in Nagoya, Japan, in October 1999. Associate membership may be available to interested persons who are not members of the Transplantation Society; details will be announced later this year.
