Rob Bray is a Research Fellow in the Research School of Social Sciences at the Australian National University. Prior to joining the ANU in 2010 he had a long career in the Australian Public Service in a range of social policy and related portfolios. At the ANU he has undertaken policy and program evaluations in addition to research focused on the interaction of economic and social policy, the Australian minimum wage, and income distribution. Chris Chamberlain is Emeritus Professor, Centre for Applied Social Research, RMIT University. He is the joint author/editor of Youth Homelessness (1998), Counting the Homeless 2001 (2003), Counting the Homeless 2006 (2008), and Homelessness in Australia (2014). Matthew Gray is Professor of Public Policy and Director of the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods. He has published on a wide range of economic and social policy issues and has undertaken major evaluations of a number of government policies and programs. Kelly Hand is a Senior Research Fellow at the Australian Institute of Family Studies. She primarily focuses her research on families and employment and service provision to families, particularly those in vulnerable and disadvantaged communities.
