The first Australian Experiential Psychotherapy Conference will be held at Emmanuel College, Brisbane from 13-17July 1988, with overseas and national presenters. The conference title is Crossing Boundaries, and aims to explore the links and relationships between various forms of Experiential Therapy, including experientially based family and system approaches. Initiators are Barry Blicharski, Centre for Experiential Learning, 141 Beattie Street, Balmain (02 8184188) and Yaro Starak, Gestalt Institute of Queensland. A National Conference for People who work with Families will be held on July 9 and 10, 1988 at Melbourne College of Advanced Education. Sponsored by Family Life, the Conference will include workshops, and a pre-conference workshop on 8 July conducted by Dr Carl Broderick, on Dealing with Stress in Families.
