Abstract
I am delighted to welcome two new colleagues, Michael Spitzer and Julian Horton, to the editorial team of Music Analysis . Thanks are due to Bethany Lowe and Timothy Jones for their work on behalf of the journal, and in particular to Craig Ayrey for his extensive contribution to the preparation of Critical Forum material for Volume 24. It is a further pleasure for me to report that William Drabkin's editions of Heinrich Schenker's writings from the 1920s were awarded a Special Citation by the Society for Music Theory shortly before his transcription and translation of Schenker's ‘Niedergang der Kompositionskunst’ was published in the March–July 2005 issue of this journal.
