Correspondence Dear Madam, There WAS one negative point I made, and it wasn't about doctors, it was about parents and the advisability of teaching them to become drug sleuths against their children-and that point rema:ins. I was wondering about doctol"s and the favourable evidence I found concerning· their drug abuse, for I, to'o , believed we were a group prone to the abuse of drugs. I had hoped a scientist such as J. Kraus would have told me if the recent Australian evidence I commented on was true: I did not want anyone, including J. Kraus, to' write at length quoting the Sydney Morning Herald, a television interview and some very old articles (from 1937, with the majority in the 'late 1960s to early 1970) on the then going,s-on in other parts of the wO'rld.
