Abstract

Copper(I) iodide catalyzed oxidative synthesis of imidazo[1,2‐a]pyridines through CH activation of methyl ketones in water is reported. One‐pot, three‐component coupling reactions for the synthesis of sulfenylimidazo [1,2‐a]pyridines have also been developed from readily available methyl ketones, amino pyridines, and diphenyl disulphide.
