CAPE VERDE: Post‐Election Government The eighteen‐strong team includes eight women. The Cape Verde government website on March 18th revealed that the Prime Minister, José‐Maria Neves , had that day announced his new government following elections on February 6th, which includes nine new appointments. There are eight women in key posts. The new executive has 18 members, compared to 16 previously.
