Es wird der Einfluß verschiedener Anionen (Orthophosphat, Metaphosphat, Oxalat, Citrat und ADTA) im Bereich von 10−6 10−3 Mol/1 auf die Flockung von Modelltrüben aus Kaolin und Quarz durch Aluminiumsalze an Hand alkalimetrischer Titrationskurven und unter Kontrolle der elektrophoretischen Wanderungsgeschwindigkeit der Flocken untersucht. Der Einfluß von Komplexbildnern auf die elektrophoretische Wanderungsgeschwindigkeit gegen‐über den Modelltrüben ist gering, jedoch groß gegenüber den Koagulationsmitteln infolge der Bildung von Mischkomplexverbindungen. Es konnte gezeigt werden, daß die zur Flockung erforderliche Aluminiumsalzdosis von dem Löslichkeitsverhalten des resultierenden Aluminiumkomplexes abhängt. Schon unterstöchiometrische Mengen Hexametaphosphat und ADTA verhindern eine Flockung durch Aluminiumsalze trotz Absenkung der elektrophoretischen Wanderungsgeschwindigkeit.
