Angular reflectance distributions for coloured newsprint

Angular reflectance distributions for coloured newsprint Angular distributions of light reflected from coloured paper surfaces have been measured at three wavelengths in the red, green, and blue regions of the spectrum. These distributions are fitted as the sum of cosine and high‐order cosine terms to describe the diffuse and specular components, respectively. The fitted distributions are used to estimate colour errors for various angular separations of illuminating and viewing beams, and are qualitatively described in terms of scattering and absorption in the paper. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Color Research & Application Wiley

Abstract

Angular distributions of light reflected from coloured paper surfaces have been measured at three wavelengths in the red, green, and blue regions of the spectrum.
