Analysis of population structure

Analysis of population structure SUMMARY Stepping stone model of population structure was analysed in one‐dimensional eases of finite length, with special reference to variance and correlation of gene frequencies between colonies. Two types of migration patterns at boundarjr colony were treated. Explicit formulas for the variance and the correlation were obtained. In order to check the validity of the analytical results, several Monte Carlo experiments were performed by computer. Some extensions of the analyses were also given. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Annals of Human Genetics Wiley
