AN ENGLISH BIBLIOGRAPHICAL AID TO KARL RAHNER The aim of this bibliography is to provide the student with a list of works of Karl Rahner published in English and secondary works arranged according to topic. Anyone seeking a chronological list should consult one of the comprehensive bibliographies, all of which are chronologically arranged. Part of Rahner’s achievement was to synthesize Philosophy, Theology and Spirituality. Constructing a thematic bibliography has not, therefore, been an easy task and I hope my classification will not be thought too idiosyncratic. While an attempt has been made to achieve comprehensiveness and accuracy, it has not been possible, in the time available, to inspect most of the works listed, and thus a number of articles may have been listed twice under different titles. This bibliography is heavily dependent on the work of others. A list of comprehensive bibliographies on Rahner is given below.
