AGG Publisher's Report 2021

AGG Publisher's Report 2021 Publisher’s Report 2021 Annual Report 2021 Publisher’s Report 2021 A Message from the Editor The number of submissions in 2021 was the same as the 2020; however, AGE has begun to be recognized in the international community because the number of submissions and number of countries submitting articles increased. These papers require a bit more time in the review process which has led to an increase in the release rate; however, the time to first review remained the same for 2020. The time the article is in the authors portal for revision increased which is beyond our control. AGE was founded as being a transfer journal along with original submissions that met the scope of the journal and increasing our outreach to all journals about this aspect is an emphasis in 2022. The scope of the papers published in AGE reveals the need for this type of journal in the scientific community and the expectation is that the journal will continue to grow and fulfill the need as originally envisioned. We will continue to do outreach and education about the scope and mission of AGE and how we serve the scientific community.
