He works on characterization of CRT, LCD displays. He is also interested in device-independent color reproduction. BAEK, JUNGâKI is a graduate student in the same department. She is working on the color calibration technique of CRT display for her Master of Science. ´ JESUS ZOIDO received a Ph.D. in physics from the University Complutense of Madrid in 1997. He is an assistant professor in the Optics Department at this university. He has been working in different areas including optical ï¬bers, LEDs, applied colorimetry, statistics information theory, and Boseâ Einstein condensation. Since the lecture of his thesis, the focus of his research is the development of a color difference metric based on a theoretical statistical model. JOHN H. XIN received a B.S. degree from East China University in 1984 and a Ph.D. from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom in 1989, both in textile chemistry.
