About the Authors CALVIN S. MCCAMY is a color consultant and an active contributor to this journal. Additional biographical data is found in the last issue ofthisjournal. Dr. MEI-CHUN LO received a Ph. D. degree at Loughborough University of Technology in 1995. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at the World College of Journalism and Communications in Taiwan, Republic of China. Dr. M. RONNIER LUO is a Reader in Colour Science at the Design Research Centre (DRC) of the University of Derby in Derby, England. He first studied textile technology at the Taiwan Institute of Technology, then researched color difference metrics under Bryan Rigg at Bradford University in England. In 1986, he was awarded the Research Medal of the Dyers Company. From 1986 to 1992 he was employed by Crosfield Electronics Limited and worked at Loughborough University. In 1993, he moved to his current position at University of Derby. In 1994, he received the C.
