I first heard about snow when I was in the fifth grade. Our geography teacher used to tell us all kinds of interesting stories, among which was a story about snow. Before we had that lesson, I had never thought of what the snow looked like and I don't think I knew what the word "snow" meant. After learning different stories about snow, I started to think of snow as a big heap of ice which grew into snow mountains. I thought of snow as white, but I did not think of it as being cold. When I was a little girl, I really liked seeing those big white mountains. I thought we could have the greatest fun possible with my brothers and sisters, if we could go to play on those white mountains.
