Now I'm going to tell you I never got religion in church, never could get the spirit there. Didn't know where to look, I guess. I found God's love in a hardware store in Kingsport wandering around in the back looking for a lock and key. I suddenly looked up into these amazing eyes heard a voice like deep calm water say "Can I help you find what you need?" Our eyes wouldn't let go. We both blinked then because we both knew the answer. When he just laid his hand on top of mine lifting it up around the cardboard package, I knew something was about to change. He guided my hands wanted them to go, many times after that took my fingers where he taught me to use his hands any way I needed. Those brown, square-tipped fingers showed me how to fish whittle, garden, play a song, Sinner that I am that man was sent to me before it was too late, before I was past praying. He taught me how to hold my hands in prayer and I made sure he went to glory with his hands that way, not with fingers wound together
