Corrigendum

Corrigendum An article by Michael J. Steudeman (“Own Your Complicity, Then Fix It: Reflections on Whiteness in Rhetoric & Public Affairs,” Departures in Critical Qualitative Research, Vol. 9, no. 1,p. 36) quotes President Lyndon B. John- son as stating (in reference to schoolchildren Johnson worked with in Cotulla, Texas): “their little brown bodies had so little and needed so much.” The essay incorrectly attributes the quotation to a speech Johnson delivered on civil rights. The correct citation for this quotation is Doris Kearns Good- win, Lyndon Johnson and the American Dream (New York: Harper and Row, 1976), p. 66. Goodwin attributes the quotation directly to Johnson, drawing from her personal interview notes. The author regrets the error. Abstract

An article by Michael J.
