Tourism Education, the Peace Proposition and the Conscientization of the Tourism Industry The paper examines the potential of tourism education to encourage tourism industry recognition of its ability to contribute to a more harmonious and peaceful world. There is reference to the United Nations Global Code of Ethics for Tourism as a resource available to the educator.
