Loo INCE the 1990s, research has been conducted worldwide to examine the spatiality of Internet development. Early Sstudies focused primarily on the spatial diffusion of the Abramson Internet from the United States to the rest of the world. With the Batty and Barr huge global digital divide, much attention was put on the striking Goodman et al. Press differences among world regions. However, the situation has been changing rapidly since the mid-1990s.
