Abstract
Performance-based seismic engineering has led to a surge in the use of nonlinear tools for seismic evaluation of structures. An overview of modeling techniques that can be used to analyze reinforced concrete (RC) structures subjected to seismic loads is outlined in this paper with a focus on simplified approaches.
