Editorial 71.03 Nordic Psychology, 2019 Vol. 71, No. 3, 147, https://doi.org/10.1080/19012276.2019.1635730 EDITORIAL In autumn issue of Nordic Psychology, we introduce a number of exciting articles presenting themes like Seven-Subtest Short Form of the WAIS, The Borg CR Scale , Harald Høffding, Dialogue Therapy and the Preschool Anxiety Scale-Revised. In the first article of this issues, “Cross-Cultural Applicability and Reduction of the American Seven-Subtest Short Form of the WAIS on a Swedish Non-Clinical Sample” Maria Lindau and Mats Najstro €m investigating whether the seven-subtest short form based on WAIS-R was statistic- ally valid to use on the Swedish version of Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, Fourth Edition (WAIS-IV). The results outlined in the article were contradictory. When the original WAIS-IV was compared to the seven-subtest short form the results showed a good congruence on FSIQ-level between the two sets, but on index level there were several cases of mismatches, and it was recommended to use the four-subtest model with caution.
