Campbell is Associate Provost for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer. He came to West Virginia University (WVU) in January 2013, assuming system-wide leadership of the growing technology infrastructure. Dr. Campbell is focused on strategic plan- ning, partnering with business units, and constant improvement of technological resources to all university customers. John has improved coordination among independent college IT units and communication with the larger campus community. John has a professional interest in data analytics and continues to examine the use of analytics to identify students. JGITM: How does IT support international engagement, research and teaching at WVU? What has been the role of IT in the internationalization of your organization? Is your organization better able to engage interna- tionally due to platforms that your division supports? How so? Where is this headed in time, do you think?
