He spent more than 10 years on entrepreneurial activities in Shanghai. In 2006, he moved back to his home town, Suichang, a beautiful mountain- ous place, developing e-commerce on agricultural products. In 2010, he served as the President of Suichang Web Store Association, quickly expanding the user base to over 1,300 members, and employed more than 3,000 people. In 2012, the sales of Suichang Agricultural E-commerce Company Ltd. reached 1.5 billion Yuan. In September 2012, the Ministry of Agriculture awarded him “National Rural Enrichment Leader.” In January 2013, Taobao and Suichang built a strategic alliance. Suichang became the first Taobao county in China; Suichang’s e-commerce model is becoming the economic model for other counties in China.
