Recent interest in rnore formally integrating faculty practice roles and responsi- bilities into traditional educational roles is occurring in all types of edu- cational settings. This interest in faculty practice is not new. However, there is increased emphasis on the challenges crated in defining faculty practice, designing faculty practice plans, and measwing the outcomes and impact of this important trend in nursing education and practice.
