The organization sets standards for the entire life cycle of a pharmaceutical agent that is meant ultimately to treat human disease. It pro- vides information on the proper design and analysis of regulatory studies and requirements for good manufacturing. These guidelines are meant to improve pharmaceuticals’ quality, safety, and effi cacy.
