New species of Pythium and Phytophthora
Phytophthora inundata and P. hedraiandra are reported for the first time in Australia. The former was found in soil around carrot and parsley crops in the Cranbourne area of Victoria. The latter is an historical collection from 1996, isolated from soil near horticultural polyhouses in Werribee, Victoria.
