The development trends of the global information environment and present-day high-tech production are demonstrated. A CAD methodology for supplying the stages of the “research–development–production” cycle with scientific, technical, and techno-economic information is considered from a systemic perspective. A virtually synthesized technology package for the continuous information support of the lifecycle of a product with a CAD system as its core is presented. Abstract

The development trends of the global information environment and present-day high-tech production are demonstrated.
