The Concept of the New Control System for Heating of Coke Oven Battery The coke oven battery heating (firing) system should ensure the required uniformity of heat transfer over the entire height and length of coal charge and the required level of temperatures in the heating flues to ensure readiness of the coke produced in all battery chambers at a given time. These conditions cannot be achieved without proper regulation of the heating system. Abstract

The coke oven battery heating (firing) system should ensure the required uniformity of heat transfer over the entire height and length of coal charge and the required level of temperatures in the heating flues to ensure readiness of the coke produced in all battery chambers at a given time.
