Temperature effect on the mechanical properties of composite materials

Temperature effect on the mechanical properties of composite materials The effect of constant and cyclic temperature influences (from −196 to 120°C) on products made of composite materials is shown. Studies are carried out on ring samples cut from workpieces produced by winding at different angles of reinforcement. The data on the changes in the linear expansion coefficient, strength, rigidity, and residual deformations are given depending on the temperature and the number of thermal cycles. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Inorganic Materials Springer Journals

Abstract

The effect of constant and cyclic temperature influences (from −196 to 120°C) on products made of composite materials is shown. Studies are carried out on ring samples cut from workpieces produced by winding at different angles of reinforcement. The data on the changes in the linear expansion coefficient, strength, rigidity, and residual deformations are given depending on the temperature and the number of thermal cycles.
