We have studied the sorption properties of nanofibrous carbon (multiwalled nanotubes) produced by milling amorphous carbon prepared through sphagnum moss pyrolysis. The results demonstrate that the sorption capacity of the carbon nanotubes depends on storage time and that their oxidation behavior depends on nanotube preparation conditions.
