Relation between Maximum and Arbitrary Mean Vitrinite Reflection Coefficients The relation between the maximum (Ro,max) and arbitrary (Ro,r) mean vitrinite reflection coefficients is established for coal from Australia, the United States, Canada, Poland, and Germany, on the basis of data from scientific journals. Abstract

The relation between the maximum (Ro,max) and arbitrary (Ro,r) mean vitrinite reflection coefficients is established for coal from Australia, the United States, Canada, Poland, and Germany, on the basis of data from scientific journals. Investigation of 40 coal samples from the Kuznetsk Basin yields the corresponding relationship between Ro,max and Ro,r for such Russian coal, taking account of their genetic recovery.
