TlIn1 – x Nd x Se2(0 < x ≤ 0.1) solid solutions were characterized by x-ray diffraction and temperature-dependent electrical conductivity, Hall effect, thermoelectric power, and heat capacity measurements. With increasing Nd content, the lattice parameters of the solid solutions increase almost linearly, and their band gap decreases.
