Products NE W S Pr o D u c T S Instrument Systems | Measurement System for Headlights Instrument Systems has introduced a measurement sys- tem for rapid testing of a wide range of lighting scenarios for modern headlights, such as HD/ADB/matrix /pixel head- lights. The AMS screen imaging system consists of a far-field goniop hotometer, a screen photometer and an illuminance meter and enables synchronized measurements for luminance distri- butions and far field with very high accuracy. Supported by the advanced Lightcon software, conformance tests according to ECE/SAE/ICAO/FAA regulations as well as extensive graphical analyses can be e fficiently performed. The system setup includes a classic AMS 3000 or 5000 goniophotometer with a DSP 200 fast illu minance meter positioned beyond the photometric limiting distance. In addition, the Lumicam-2400B camera is used as a screen photometer. Its five-megapixel resolution enables highly accurate measurement of all types of headlamps. For simple and fast operation, the test results from both measurements can be analyzed simultaneously using the Lightcon software.
