Products NE W S Pr o d U c T S Siko | New Draw-wire Encoder for 12 m Measuring Length The new SG121 draw-wire encoder from Siko, with an installation depth of just 70 × 85 × 105 mm, is suitable for measuring lengths of up to 12 m. The robust aluminum housing paired with impact-resistant plastic is resistant even under the most adverse operating conditions. The sensor can be used at temperatures from -40 to +80 °C. For outdoor applications in the low temperature range, a version with integrated water drain holes is optionally available. This prevents any water that has seeped in from freezing at sub-zero temperatures, thus increasing the service life. The flexible 58-mm flange system allows incremental interfaces such as HTL or TTL as well as absolute interfaces such as analog, SSI, CANopen, SEA J1939, CANopen Safety, fieldbus or Ethernet.
