The state of hydrogen in tetragonal ε-ZrH2.3 was probed by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Both the resonance width and Knight shift were found to exhibit anomalies around 380 K, which were interpreted as evidence for a structural phase transition involving hydrogen ordering.
