OH HO A specific feature of the molecular structure of com- O HN N plexes I–III is the presence of a –(CH) – aliphatic bridge (spacer) connecting the coordination polyhedra 2 4 of two tridentate copper chelates; hence, these com- H L , X = H; H L , X = CH 4 4 3 plexes can be classified as spacered dimers.
