Luminescence and photoconductivity of alkali-metal-doped cadmium sulfide films Data are presented on the luminescence and photosensitivity of cadmium sulfide films doped with an alkali metal (Na or K) in the presence of chlorine. The doping is shown to increase the luminescence quantum yield by more than one order of magnitude in comparison with undoped CdS films.
