List of Contributors Archival Science 3: 213–215, 2004. Berndt Fredriksson Berndt Fredriksson received a Ph.D. in History at Uppsala University, 1976. He has been senior archivist at the Swedish National Archives 1979–1987 and Head of Archives at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 1987–1998. Currently he is Chief Historian at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and part-time Professor of Archival Science at Stockholm University. Maija-Leena Huotari Maija-Leena Huotari received a B.A. (Economics) at Vaasa University, Finland in 1980, a M.Sc. (Social Sciences) at Tampere University in 1992, and a Ph.D. in information studies at Sheffield University, UK, in 1996. Since then she has been working in the Department of Informa- tion Studies at Tampere University, currently as acting professor of information management and deputy head of the department. She was rapporteur of the intermediate evaluation of the Multilin- gual Information Society Programme of EU in 1998–1999, and chair of the Total Quality Evaluation of the Libraries of Helsinki University in 1999–2000. Erva Kostiainen Erva Kostiainen received a M.Soc.Sci at Tampere University in 2002. She worked as a research assistant, an assistant and a lecturer in the Department of Information Studies at Tampere University in 2000– 2002.
