Internet addiction factors This paper tackles an important social and psychological problem that is a consequence of modern scientific and technological progress in cyberspace. This problem has so far received limited coverage in the national press. The negative effects and types of pathological activity that are associated with the deviant online behavior of Internet addicts (both children and adults), as well as ways to prevent Internet addiction are discussed. The main risks of adverse effects on human health that are associated with working on a computer for long hours are investigated.
