Please provide a short abstract of 100 to 250 words. The abstract should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references. Key Words Please provide 5 to 10 key words. The key words selected should be comprehensive and subject specific. General terms should not appear as key words. Choose key words to be as specific as possible, and list the most specific first, proceeding to the most general last. Symbols & Units The metric system is to be used, preferably the Système International (SI). Subscripts and super- scripts should be set off clearly. Use a full stop for decimals, and reserve crosses for multiplication. The sign for ‘about equal to’ is , ‘of the order of’ is indicated by ∼. Vectors are printed in bold face (indicated by wavy underlining in the manuscript). Distinguish clearly between the letter O and zero 0, the letter l and the number one, kappa and k, mu and u, nu and v, eta and n, etc. Figures and Tables In addition to hard copy printouts of figures, authors are requested to supply the electronic versions of figures in either Encapsulated PostScript or TIFF format.
